I received my PhD in English from Loyola University Chicago with a dissertation entitled "The Trauma Thesis" that examines the representation of psychological trauma in war narratives.
Presently, I am the Managing Editor for a search engine optimization firm, where I lead a team of 24 creative minds to produce thought leadership for our clients.
Previously, I was the Director of Communications for a security consulting company, working primarily with the Law Enforcement Consulting practice area. I specialize in complex, high-impact and research-driven communications.
My teaching and research interests include trauma theory, modernism, textual studies, and digital humanities, and I provide freelance social media, grant writing, and editing services.
